But what makes the Medicated version different from the standard W Cleansing Foam is the active ingredient: Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, a licorice-derived anti-inflammatory compound that's quasi-drug certified in Japan specifically to prevent acne and rough skin. It works as you wash — calming inflammation and inhibiting the bacterial activity that leads to breakouts before it has a chance to build up.
Job's Tears Seed Extract and Peach Leaf Extract handle the brightening and moisture-conditioning.
