Most Vitamin C serums either oxidise quickly, sting sensitive skin, or come in packaging that lets light degrade the formula before you're halfway through the bottle. Daiso solved the stability problem by using Ascorbyl Glucoside — a stable, non-irritating Vitamin C derivative that converts to active L-Ascorbic Acid once absorbed by the skin. It doesn't oxidise sitting on the shelf. It doesn't sting. And it delivers the same brightening and collagen-stimulating benefits as straight Vitamin C, just without the drawbacks.
Ascorbyl Glucoside targets melanin production — the root cause of dark spots, uneven tone, and post-breakout marks — by inhibiting Tyrosinase, the enzyme that triggers pigmentation. Niacinamide is in the supporting cast, also targeting uneven tone while reducing the appearance of pores. Sodium Hyaluronate handles hydration. The serum texture is watery-light, absorbs in seconds, and layers cleanly under moisturiser. No fragrance. 20ml. Made in Japan.
🧴 How to Use
After cleansing, dispense 2–3 drops onto palm and press gently into face and neck. Follow with moisturiser. Use in the morning for maximum brightening effect — always follow with SPF. Can also be used at night.
