Pharmaact's Weakly Acidic Medicated Conditioner contains Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate as its active pharmaceutical ingredient — a licorice-derived compound clinically used in Japan to prevent dandruff, relieve itching, and keep the scalp clean at a medicinal level. It's a quasi-drug (医薬部外品) certified product, meaning the active ingredient is government-approved for its stated function.
The "weakly acidic" part matters too. Your scalp and hair naturally sit at a slightly acidic pH (around 4.5–5.5). Alkaline products disturb that balance. This conditioner matches it, which means less irritation and a scalp environment where hair grows and stays healthy over time.
