Acne face washes usually go one of two ways: harsh and effective, or gentle and pointless. This one manages to be both gentle and genuinely medicated. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate is the quasi-drug certified active — a licorice-derived anti-inflammatory that suppresses the inflammation cascade behind breakouts at the washing stage, before it has time to develop. It doesn't dry the skin to eliminate bacteria. It interrupts the process earlier and more precisely.
The Vitamin C derivative (Ascorbyl Glucoside) in the supporting formula targets the post-acne marks that linger long after the breakout has gone. Arbutin works on the same pathway, blocking melanin to gradually fade dark spots. Sodium Hyaluronate and Amino Acids keep the skin from ever feeling tight or reactive — the usual sacrifice when using medicated cleansers. Aloe Extract soothes. Tsubaki (Camellia) Oil conditions.
