Senka's Perfect Whip has been Japan's go-to drugstore face wash for years — and the reason is simple. The foam it makes is unlike anything you get from a regular cleanser. Press the pump once, work it between your palms for about 10 seconds, and it turns into this thick, cloud-like lather that just sits on your skin and cleans without any scrubbing needed.
This original version (not the collagen one) is the classic formula — silk extract plus sericin, both derived from silk cocoons, which are known in Japanese cosmetics for their smoothing and brightening properties. It removes dirt, oil, and light sunscreen without stripping your skin, and you don't get that tight, squeaky feeling after washing that most foams leave behind.
Works for most skin types. If you're oily around the T-zone but dry on the cheeks — which a lot of people in Dhaka deal with — it's a good middle-ground cleanser that won't tip either way. Rinse with lukewarm water, not hot, and follow immediately with your toner or lotion while your skin is still slightly damp.
