The Ichikami Damage Repair Oil Serum targets one specific thing: the cuticle layer. When hair is repeatedly heat-styled, colored, or just dried out over time, the cuticle — the protective outer scale of each strand — lifts, frays, and eventually breaks. That's what causes roughness, frizz, and the dullness that no amount of washing seems to fix. This serum uses Rice Squalene EX as its core smoothing compound — a rice-derived cuticle oil that penetrates between the lifted scales, fills the gaps, and lays the cuticle back flat.
Supporting it: Rice Germ Oil and Rice Bran Oil for structural repair and prevention, Camellia (Tsubaki) Oil for the classic Japanese glossing effect, and Walnut Seed Oil to strengthen the strand against further friction damage. The formula is heavy enough to penetrate and repair, but settles into a weightless, non-sticky finish on the hair. It also blocks UV rays and controls humidity-driven frizz — especially relevant in Bangladesh's climate.
